• 1988 – The Pursuit of Perfection

  Swedish inventor Olle Danielsson designed a revolutionary ergonomic weeding tool. Early test runs began, shaped by Olle's uncompromising demands for total perfection. He submitted his application to the Swedish Patent and Registration Office (PRV), and the tool became known on the market as Lucko.

• 1993 – A Milestone Year

  The LUCKO trademark was officially registered with PRV in Olle's name. In October of that year, driven by his passion for injection molding, Peter founded Peje-Plast with his own machine.

• 1997 – The Ultimate Test

  Olle had long struggled to find a manufacturer who could meet his exacting standards. Other factories had defect rates of 10–15% because the high-quality nylon required was notoriously difficult to work with. Frustrated, Olle turned to Peter. Out of the first 400 units Peter produced, only two were discarded. Olle was thrilled to finally see his vision brought to life flawlessly.

• 1999 – Passing the Torch

  When it came time to retire, Olle asked Peter to take over the original tool and production entirely. Peje-Plast acquired the rights to the name, design, and manufacturing, ensuring the authentic tool stayed with the only manufacturer who could get it right.

• 2023 – The Evolution to Sweeder

  To better serve our growing European market and highlight our domestic production, the original tool changed its name. Today, the authentic design lives on as Sweeder, the Swedish weeder.
